RAI representatives submitted representation to Pune Municipal Commissioner regarding notification to charge Rs. 15/- per plastic size
RAI representatives met with Shri Kunal Kumar, Commissioner, PMC on 29th October, 2014 to have a discussion on PMC’s notification to charge RS. 15/- per plastic bag.
We expressed our concern that customers were not willing to pay the exorbitant rate of Rs. 15/- per plastic bag. We proposed that a reasonable rate should be charged considering the rates charged by other municipal corporations.
We submitted a representation to Shri Kunal Kumar, attached here, who assured us that he would consider the representation and take appropriate action in this regard.
