As per the announcement on the July 2, 2021, Retail trade is now eligible for priority sector advances by banks and financial institutions as per RBI guidelines. RAI welcomes this decision by the Government of India (GOI) and is thankful to GOI for considering our long-standing demand.

To avail the benefits, retail businesses are required to register on the Udyam portal as MSMEs.

We are pleased to inform you that we at Retailers Association of India (RAI) have set up a ‘Retail MSME Help Desk’ to help our MSME members with their queries and guide them through the UDYAM Aadhaar registration process so that they can start availing the benefits covered therein.
