Coca-Cola India and Reliance Retail have initiated “Bhool Na Jana, Plastic Bottle Lautana,” a sustainability drive in Mumbai. Launched at a Santacruz Reliance Retail store, this sustainability drive focuses on  collecting post-use polyethylene terephthalate (PET)  bottles through Reverse Vending Machines and bins.  Aligned with the Swachh Bharat Mission promoted by the Government of India, this project began  in 36 Mumbai and Delhi stores, aiming to expand to  200 nationwide by 2025, targeting 500,000 bottles annually. This effort complements Coca-Cola India’s existing “Return And Recycle” campaign, which has engaged 50,000 households and collected 1 tonne of PET waste.
