Online grocery market BigBasket has launched its services in Kerala and will soon be opening a collection centre near Kochi. The centre will help bigbasket.com service the local market through by collecting fresh vegetables and fruits.
With Kochi, BigBasket is now present in 26 cities in India.
With the recent round of raising funds, BigBasket has entered the country’s unicorn club. BigBasket aims to double its revenue by Rs 7,000 crore in fiscal 2020. It expects 40% of its projected revenue to come from private labels, which currently stands at 34%.
